Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
- Draft subcontractor and vendor scopes of work and obtain bids.
- Create and manage construction schedules with Superintendents.
- Develop and maintain relationships and communication with co-workers, clients, design professionals, subcontractors, suppliers, building inspectors, and other project stakeholders while motivating project team members to achieve project goals.
- Submit, obtain, and manage permits.
- Prepare and present reports on project status, including budget, timeline, and risk assessment. Communicate project progress to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and ensure that projects are completed within budget and on time.
- Ensure that projects are completed to the highest quality standards and in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Required Skills:
- Top-notch organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Highly attentive and responsive to customer requests and communication.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications, Education, & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or similar degree path.
- Minimum of 5 years of related field and/or construction project management experience.
- Demonstrated experience as a Construction Project Manager running a variety of commercial construction projects, ranging from retail renovations to new restaurants and office buildings, with a track record of successfully delivering project on time and within budget.
